Season 26 of The Voice is coming to an end tonight (December 10). By tomorrow morning, fans across the nation will know who was crowned champion. Unfortunately, that means fans will have to wait for Season 27 of The Voice to kick off. There’s a silver lining, though. They won’t have to wait long. The next season of the fan-favorite singing competition is slated to premiere in February.
According to NBC, The Voice Season 27 will premiere on Monday, February 3, 2025. As usual, it will air at 8/7c on NBC. Additionally, it will stream the next day on Peacock. Those who don’t have cable but don’t want to wait to catch the premiere can see it live on various streaming platforms that offer live TV. Fubo, DirecTV Stream, YouTube TV, and others will host live broadcasts of The Voice.
Exciting New Coaches in Season 27
Fans will see a new lineup of coaches in Season 27. Michael Bublé will be the only Season 26 coach to return next season. Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg will exit the show after tonight’s finale episode. However, a pair of fan favorites will return to claim two of the vacant red chairs—John Legend and Adam Levine. Additionally, Kelsea Ballerini will make her coaching debut. Ballerini, however, is no stranger to The Voice. She stood in for Kelly Clarkson during Season 20.
Michael Bublé Prepares for Season 27
Michael Bublé is already gearing up for the next season, and he couldn’t be more excited about his first win. When asked if he feels any pressure going into Season 27 alongside fellow coaches John Legend, Adam Levine, and Kelsea Ballerini, the “Home” singer confidently assured fans he’s ready.
“I’ve already been texting Adam tonight,” he said enthusiastically.
Sofronio Vasquez, who was crowned champion this season under Team Bublé, humorously called his coach out for texting. “I caught you texting… I was like, ‘Why are you texting?’” Vasquez teased.
“I was texting Levine!” Bublé responded with a laugh. “By the way, this season has been amazing with Snoop [Dogg], Reba [McEntire], and Gwen [Stefani]. They’re such beautiful people. But [season] 27, man… Levine and John Legend? John Legend EGOT winner? God, I’m just a few awards behind him. And Kelsea Ballerini? Oh my God, I’ve got bragging rights.”
Vasquez’s Emotional Victory
On Tuesday night, Vasquez beat out fellow Bublé contestant Shye, Team Reba’s Danny Joseph, Team Snoop’s Jeremy Beloate, and Team Gwen’s Sydney Sterlace to take the crown. After his name was called, the four-chair-turn contestant fell to his knees and burst into tears.
When asked where he plans to keep his trophy, Vasquez joked, “Probably in my bed. I just want to sleep with it next to me in my bed right now. I can’t believe it’s happening.”
