Donald Trump breaks silence on Elon Musk’s new ‘America Party’ with brutal statement #25

The relationship between President Donald Trump and tech mogul Elon Musk appears to be beyond repair as tensions reach new heights over Musk’s bold claim to launch a political party to rival the Republicans.

Once seemingly close allies, with Musk leading the Department of Government Efficiency, their alliance quickly unraveled, just as many had anticipated.

Musk recently stated he was stepping away from politics to refocus on his business ventures. However, he stirred controversy on his way out by insinuating that Trump was named in a confidential section of the Epstein files.

Though Musk later retracted the allegation and issued an apology, the incident left lasting damage.

The animosity reignited after the passing of Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” which Musk has vehemently opposed, arguing it will lead to massive job losses for Americans.

He didn’t stop at criticism—Musk vowed to fund campaigns against politicians who supported the bill and announced plans to form a new political entity: the America Party.

This party, he claims, will stand apart from both Democrats and Republicans, despite Musk having previously supported members of both.

Trump, in response, has harshly criticized Musk and even threatened deportation.

Speaking to reporters while returning from his New Jersey golf club, the President dismissed Musk’s ambitions as absurd, stating: “Third parties have never worked, so he can have fun with it, but I think it’s ridiculous.”

He later echoed this sentiment on Truth Social, writing: “It’s sad to watch Elon Musk spiral completely out of control—he’s been a TRAIN WRECK over the past five weeks. He now wants to start a third political party, even though they’ve never succeeded in America.”

The President further argued that third parties only bring “complete and total disruption and chaos,” intensifying his criticism.

Trump also accused Musk of turning against him due to a planned phase-out of federal subsidies for electric vehicles—an industry where Musk, as Tesla’s CEO, has billions at stake.

Additionally, Trump alleged Musk tried to exert undue influence by recommending Jared Isaacman—a close associate with ties to the space industry—to lead NASA. Once Musk resigned from his government role, Isaacman’s nomination was quietly dropped.

Trump commented: “It was inappropriate to have someone so closely tied to Elon run NASA, considering how much of NASA’s business supports his companies.”

Musk, meanwhile, has fired back with strong words of his own. Posting on X (formerly Twitter), he declared: “We live under a one-party system masquerading as democracy. The America Party is here to restore your freedom.”

While it remains uncertain whether Musk will follow through on launching a new political force, one thing is clear: Trump isn’t taking the threat too seriously, at least not publicly.
